I really loved most of this and really wish I loved it all. I feel like you nailed the feel of blues clues.
But I rage quit during the chase at the end. I even made a video but am probably not going to upload because I was too pissed to even do an outro, just closed everything.
The chase is just not even fun for me and doesn't fit in with the rest of the gameplay. A bunch of quick barely possible choices over and over and if you fail you start over. Gonna watch a couple videos tho in case I missed something and got stuck in a weird spot.
A very nice and smooth game, with an intense chase scene! Make sure to support the developer if you can, since they are financially struggling, and still realeased this great game for free!
Honestly, I really liked this one! It give the feels of a BluesClues show, but feel so original at the same time. I also like the showrunners scenes whoever that was on camera needs a raise yo😭
As someone who grew up watching blues clues, I enjoyed this game a lot! I love the scenery and the dialogue from the characters, and the added videos you had are reminiscent of something you'd see from Blues Holes. Although they had a little touch of creepiness to them. For those who want to try the game for themselves, it is very short, so keep that in mind. Looking forward to chapter 2! Check out my gameplay below:
I really enjoyed this! This probably one of my favorite new mascot horror games! I really hope you do keep up the cutesy horror nature and don't venture into edgy horror. I do have some performance issues even after tinkering the settings and felt the chase scene AI was a little to aggressive! Other than that very good game!
SO cute and I really loved the concept!! There's so much room for this world to expand, and I am buckled in for it.
Some issues I encountered during playing were that (even with the new framerate cap from the latest update) my computer could barely handle this game, and actually shut down from overheating at one point. turning off the shadows helped, but my fans were still blasting the whole time. at some points i even lost game audio because of the strain.
also, while in the moment i appreciated the flashbrights turning themselves on during the chase (cuz you know... fight or flight and all that), i agree with some commenters here that it feels like the game is playing itself. i would probably have felt more satisfied at the end if i hadn't had that assistance. so maybe give players an easy mode and normal mode so they can chose if they want that help?
anyway~ loved chapter 1 and looking forward to chapter 2! MORE FOXES PLZ
Very interesting game, I broke the game though kinda at 17:36, don't think that was intention for me to jump because I'm apparently blind and didn't see the door.
I love it when cute things are mixed with horror—like Doki Doki or Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared—it’s all done so well, and Mint's Hints is no exception! Great execution, story, and an intriguing ending!

you have to be on a windows pc and im using the app not the web version so it just had a download at the bottom right idk if that helps you any sorry if not
I couldn't see inside that drawer from far away and thought the pink flashlight making the graves show up was a busted puzzle. I opened it earlier in the game and when I didnt see anything pop up when I was flickering the light I didn't think to peek in there for the key since drawer was opened earlier and nothing was in there. rest went smooth, no deaths or anything in the chase sequence, but that was like a real weird hangup for me that halted the game.

The atmosphere on the set of the children's show was great!
And the transition in atmosphere from there to the horror part was sudden and very scary and interesting!
