this game was great! loved the environment, only thing i would change would be the walking animation. the amount of bouncing around that it did while walking around took me out of it a little bit. cant wait for chapter 2! already got it wish listed.
Thy must suffer to achieve greatness, thy must exceed in those trivial moments for it is oneself integrity, if one can even conceive the thought of being able to understand thy Hints from Mints then thine can achieve greatness in the self deprecating spiral abyss we call life.
Blue's Clues was a childhood favorite of mine, so this game instantly caught my eye! It was super well made, albeit I did find a bug that caused my game to become soft locked. If one of the foxes is stuck inside a door and you walk into it to die, you become stuck on the static screen and have to entirely restart the game. It sorta sucked, but I made it through! I can't wait to see what chapter 2 has for us!
This was a fun one, Blue clues was one of my favorite cartoon shows when I was a kid. Now I get to play a horror game with blue clues vibes, great work. I'm looking forward to chapter 2!
Eh, we don't know. We've noticed there has been in increase in toxic fans in the horror genre on itch over the past year. People that would like to hurt others instead of just being chill. Unfortunately for them, we're like scott cawthon, tell us something is a creepy robot and should stop, we only go on to make the most successful horror franchise of the 2010s XD
It makes us think that people really want to see that but... eh, stories will be made, games will be had, and the world 'at least the world of itch' will continue to be both a safe haven for the strange and bizarre, and filled with tourists who don't like themselves much XD
but that's just a theory, a game dev theory, thanks for... wait this isn't youtube.
the really weird thing here is, this game is full of serious furry bait, it makes no sense that anti-fur folks are coming here. Zero sense. Like, legit, Neco the Sergal played this.
Oh nice, someone finally did it. A blues clues horror game with live actor. IT even has furry/feral vibes with a waifu cat thing. This is pure internet in one game.
seriously though, that is the most sensual feral fox eyes I've ever seen. If you don't see it, you might need glasses(this is called playful humor, not meant as insult). but hey, challenge accepted, we'll make one for y'all, just cus your so nice owo
OH LOL. that video. That's fine. It's actually surprisingly wholesome. hence why we found it on pinterest but okay. Have a nice day XD The glasses thing was a bit much, we apologize. Having a vision issue is certainly no laughing matter, we don't have eyes so we understand, we're not actually sure what is under our hair but it's not eyes.
yeah, be careful. Not sure why some of the folks here are... weird and don't understand comedy. Good luck. (also to clarify, she doesn't have fox eyes. Foxes have tiny eyes, no eye lashes, etc. These are closer to Gem Pets or little pet shop in style. Big Round eyes, eyelashes like a human, etc. They even have what looks to be hair. It's very much a furry design, which is cool, they could have gone the realistic route, or the western cartoon route but went this direction instead. It's a good choice, but it will appeal to a certain crowd first and foremost.)
I didn't know that so thanks for the info of foxes and yeah your right there are a lot of weird and toxic people and sorry for not replying to you for 5 day's straight very sorry.
A wonderfully adorable and dark game with an intriguing set-up plot that leaves me wanting to know more! The designs of all the characters and environment really fit with the kids' show aesthetic that the game portrays and references so well!
The gameplay is pretty smooth and controls are easy to grasp as are the objectives! Overall, Mint's Hints is a really enjoyable experience! I cannot wait until Chapter 2!!
Really cool game! The story is really interesting and the characters are beautiful! I can't wait for what's in store! My only note might be sometimes the chase scene starts a bit too early. Like maybe have the player enter the doorway first, then have the light flicker with Mint appearing down the left hall darting at the player.
I love ths concept of this title! That last chase sequence had me on my toes the entire way, and the ENDING...I need to know more! Im rooting for ya to carry this gem to the heights it deserves to be, and will be patiently waiting for chapter 2!
This has obvious similarities with Poppy Playtime (which isn't a bad thing) but with the added twist of only being able to see certain objects and the mascots themselves when you're using the correct light, which I think is genius. The only things I think need to be tweak are in relation to the characters movement, a mouse sensitivity slider is pretty essential for any games and, when sprinting, the head bobbing might be too shaky for some people (specially those prone to motion sickness). Other than that, this was a solid first chapter, allowing the player to get a feel for the mechanics and only getting a taste of what the story will be about. (I just hope the story doesn't derail like Poppy Playtime or worse, Garten of Banban XD)
Hey! Thank you so much for your kind words and feedback! Those are really helpful ideas! I think your suggestions are great and I’ll definitely look into adding settings to adjust those things! Thanks again!
First there was Chip's Tips by TorpleDook for the Dread X Collection of Anthology Horror games
then prior to this; there was Flint's Hints a Psychological Horror game made in Godot Engine made by Scaredy Cat Studios
and Now There's a Mascot Horror game version of Blue's Clues by the same Developer of Imaginary Friend Asylum & The Friends we left behind Called Mint's Hints
BTW You'd have THREE nickels; NOT just 2; Because Blue's Clues being made into a horror game happened THRICE, not TWICE!!
Really great short horror game and looking forward to the next chapter! Even though I would say this falls into mascot horror the way it's set up and the premise feels really different and sets it apart from other titles of the genre! Amazing job!
This was a refreshing game to play. I had recorded this sooner but had forgotten to share my genuine thoughts. I love the twist on Blue's CLues and I see a lot of potential in this project. I'm glad to see that a developer has taken a more original approach and I look forward to chapter 2!
I loved this game! Great music. Great game ending chase. Great voice acting. I like that you was able to capture the essence of “Blue’s Clues” but HORROR!
PS. I am VERY MUCH looking forward to playing Chapter 2!

Good horror mascot game. The corridors part is very challenging.
THIS GAME WENT FROM WHOLESOME CUTE TO HORRIBLE GRUESOME, THIS PARODY HORROR GAME IS AMAZING AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!! Youtube Link -

what is going on in the comment's hello?
The game is very interesting, it would be good if it had a mobile version, like Poppy Playtime and Garten of Banban, for people who can't afford a PC.
Oh nice, someone finally did it. A blues clues horror game with live actor. IT even has furry/feral vibes with a waifu cat thing. This is pure internet in one game.
Now we just need an adult version and the cycle will be complete XP
…well, that’s one way to out yourself. I hope you’re banned from pet stores.
By the way, they’re foxes; not cats. However I’m not surprised that someone of your nature didn’t have the brain capacity to realize or retain that.
you owned bro 😭

”Need glasses”? That is the most pathetic comeback I’ve heard. Seriously, I don’t think I’ve heard that since 1st grade.
I certainly will not be entertaining your disgusting video, but do consider yourself reported and blocked.

she literally said fox eyes. I'm not trying to get in this fight but I'm just saying what is right ok don't be going roasting me for no darn reason

Amazing game! was a little too laggy and my screen was blurry when I turned but other then that it was really fun
Dude that chase scene had me panicking lol.
Awesome job.
Haha I appreciate that! Thank you!
This game was AWESOME! WE NEED MORE! Please make the chase scene a little easier! Got it wishlisted and waiting for Chapter 2!
Thank you so much! Your support and feedback means a lot to me!
Really cool game! I’m looking forward to Chapter 2! I wishlisted on Steam 😊
Hey! I’m so happy you liked it! I really appreciate your support!

Thank you so much for the kind words and feedback, Luna! I really appreciate it!
The game desperately needs a framerate limiter in the settings so majority of GPU's don't overheat at 100% consumption for just running the game pls.
That’s a good idea for further optimization, I’ll work on making an update for that. Thanks for the suggestion!
Done! Just uploaded an update with a frame rate limit. Thanks again!
Appreciated! Every Unreal Engine game has to have it or else, basically.
Thank you!! I’m so happy you’re looking forward to it!

If I had a nickel for every Blue's Clues parody horror game I noticed, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
Actually it happened THREE Times;

I've never heard of Flint's Hints before! I'm gonna go check it out.
You can find it HERE:

Game really reminds me of Blue's Clue for sure. I look forward to what you do with this in the future. Keep it up.

Amazing! I loved that chase section!
Thanks so much! It means a lot to me! I really appreciate your comments and kind words in your video as well!
That was pretty good. Much higher quality then most mascot horror games.
Thank you!! I really appreciate that! Also, I watched through your video and I loved your playthrough!
This game is fantastic. Between the visuals and lore, I was highly impressed.
• For a game made in unreal engine, I was shocked to see that this game was under 1GB. Nice.
• Took me 40 minutes to complete.
• The entire game was voice acted, which I did not expect. Pleasant surprise. The voice acting was great quality for an indie game.
• There is clearly some lore going on here. I have a few theories and am excited to see the next chapter.
Overall, for a free game I was highly impressed. My only complaint is I wish there was more.
TL:DR; Fun game, I enjoyed it. Visually stunning and stylistic.
Hey! Thank you so much for your kind words and review! They really mean a lot to me and I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
