A psychological horror game about being a child in an insane asylum. You're in a cruel world but your imaginary friends have your back.
It's 1949, and you're a new patient at Hathmoore Children's Asylum. During your stay, you'll explore and discover disturbing secrets, including the mysterious Ghost of the Asylum. Along the way, you will befriend other children and their imaginary friends. Together, you will uncover a dark conspiracy where you are to receive a terrible fate.

mental hospital full of secrets
Meet new FriendsAbsolutely fantastic demo, I can't wait to see the full version of this. Polo is an absolute icon and I love how all the characters have their own distinct personalities. The character design is also brilliant by the way, I love the visual choice of having all the humans almost looking like silhouettes. Story is very intriguing and so is the setting. Overall, great experience, can't wait for more. Here's my video in case anyone wishes to see me failing miserably at platforming

This is already one of my new favourite games, and it's just a demo! What a fantastic experience, I was riveted from beginning to end. Adore the designs of all the imaginary friends, can't wait to meet the others shown on the title screen, and there's something haunting about how every other character is just a shadow shape. Really intrigued by the story, very interested to see where it will go. Will fully admit that the platforming section did start to get frustrating, it wasn't clear how much leeway there was with landing on things and having to rush led to a lot more failures that it should have done, but it doesn't change the fact that I loved playing this and I really cannot wait for the full game.
this game is amazing!!! I absolutely LOVE the designs of the imaginary friends, they're all so unique and lovable in their own ways this is so so cool!!! The MUSIC too it's SOOO AMAZING!!! Would def recommend, 11/10 from me! <3
pls can you add version to low end pc ( very low graphic) and add arabic langue

I had so much fun playing through the demo and The Friends We Left Behind, digging around for info, and considering all the elements of the story so far to think through theories about the missing children, the friends, and more! Will there be a sequel to TFWLB? The ending is such a cliffhanger, I have to know more! :)

I absolutely adore this game and its character designs! Polo is my favorite. I look forward to seeing more of the imaginary friends, and am keeping my fingers crossed that the nurses and doctors get their comeuppance!

I am super excited to see the finished product! The world-building, Story, characters and designs are both stunning and creative! I love how the Imaginary friends are shown in a way that makes them seem more real than anyone else in the asylum. There is an amazing experience waiting for players in the full version of this game, I just know it!

the game file/ game wont open (zip file) help??
Hi! Some browsers may block the download for some reason. Maybe try downloading with Google chrome and see if that works! Then simply extract the zip and open the “Imaginary Friend Asylum.exe” file. If it’s still not working, just let me know and I can send you the files! Thank you!!

make a new folder on your desktop and just drag everything in the zip file into the new file and it should work

Loved the game cant wait to see where it goes it has a good story, atmosphere and the designs for the Imaginary friends looked really good to. The part where you sneak through the asylum at night could use a bit of refinement I was able to run right next to them without being scene and could sneak right by them when they turned just by hugging their sides they where a little to blind and def imo but that's the only bit of criticism I can think of.
